Fitter - FMCG Manufacturing/Production - Up to $51 - Night Shift

Location: Mulgrave

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical systems and equipment within the production facility.
• Install and assemble mechanical components and machinery to support production operations.
• Diagnose faults and perform corrective actions promptly to minimize downtime.
• Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance in accordance with the maintenance plan.
• Ensure all machinery and equipment are maintained in line with health and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and parts usage.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter in manufacturing/FMCG.
• Relevant trade qualification (e.g., Mechanical Fitter Certificate).
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
• Ability to read technical drawings and manuals.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Team player, able to work under pressure.
• Flexible with shifts, weekends, and overtime
